Tyvek is a brand of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers, a synthetic material; the name is a registered trademark of the DuPont company, known for its production of chemicals and textiles. Tyvek is often used as house wrap, a synthetic material used to protect buildings during construction, or as personal protective equipment against lethal viruses such as SARS-CoV-2. The material is difficult to tear, but can easily be cut with scissors or a knife. Water vapor can pass through Tyvek, but liquid water cannot. All of these properties have led to Tyvek being used in a variety of applications.

Tyvek has solar-driven moisture problems causing issues, claims a customer at homedepot.com

"Solar driven moisture is a problem with Tyvek because the perm rate is too high. Typar is a much better choice, especially behind the brick. Had serious issues with Tyvek especially behind the brick."

Ann says

"I ordered 4 gallons of hand sanitizer to use in the hospital. They made me buy the pumps separately and charged a ridiculous amount for them. I received the sanitizer and can't get them to send the pumps. Furthermore, the sanitizer is so sticky you cannot use it without having to wash it off with soap and water after each use. My fingers stuck together after each use. Terrible product, terrible customer service. They will not take back the unopened gallons. It's a shame that a company could sell a defective product such as this to people trying to stay safe and stop the spread of the covid virus. How do you sleep at night? Needless to say, will never order from you again."

"would give them less than 1 if possible, i ordered stuff worth 500 dollars and they sent goods worth only 100 dollars (in a very small box) and dealing with their customer service has been complete disaster - only thing they keep repeating is that "we shipped everything" -complain to fedex - Ridiculous - stay away and save your money"

Fiona Cohen says

"They claim they offered next day delivery when the earliest they can deliver is 5 days I was charged for next day delivery I did not receive a hundred free wristbands because I ordered next day delivery I ordered for a funeral and they did not come until five days after the funeral they refused to give me a refund the customer service is horrible the manager called me swearing up and down that they would be there the next morning it was completely I he knew full well they were not going to be there it is disgusting"

Chris says

"Bad colors, poor quality. Just junk. Order from somewhere else."
